Rowe Industries
Braidless Silicone Rubber Insulated Wire has excellent physical
strength and mechanical properties. Silicone rubber has
outstanding resistance to heat, ozone, moisture, and chemicals.
It also resists hardening or cracking under severe weather
conditions. Rowe Industries silicone rubber wires are
produced in various wall thicknesses to meet a variety of agency
approvals. Silicone rubber wires are made of single
conductor flexible stranded tin coated copper insulated with
various silicone rubber compounds. Silver plated copper and
other platings are available on special order. The
conductors range in size from #24 AWG to #4/0 AWG and 250-750 MCM
and are available in various stranding configurations.
Silicone rubber wire can meet temperature and voltage ratings up
to 250°C 100 KVDC. |
| |
| USES |
Silicone rubber wire is ideal for use in high temperature
applications such as motors, transformers, generators, lighting
fixtures, stoves, dryers and therapeutic and electronic
devices. |
| |
| SPECIFICATIONS |
Rowe Industries silicone rubber wires meet or exceed the
requirements of MIL-W-16878/7, 8, 29 and 30. These
wires are also recognized by Underwriters' Laboratories
and the Canadian Standards Association under a variety of
style numbers. |

F wires 200°C rating with silver plated conductors only.
150°C rating for tinned copper conductors. UL allows
200°C ratings for TPC conductors utilizing individual strands
of 26 AWG or larger.
- To determine nominal O.D. of finished wire add two times
the insulation wall thickness to the nominal conductor
diameter.
